Adrianne moved from Atlanta to San Diego in 1984 to attend UCSD. Her love of animals lead her to the veterinary field and for the past 14 years she has had the pleasure of working for Dr. Houston. She has a precious cat named Chloe.
Heather (Hani) moved to San Diego four years ago from Reno, Nevada, where she worked at the largest animal hospital in town. She transferred to San Diego State University and earned her degree in Biology in 2009. She has worked in the veterinary hospital field for over almost eight years. She has always loved animals; she considers her first child to be her beloved special beagle named Poppet. She loves to dance and goes country line dancing as often as possible. She speaks Japanese, and enjoys watching Japanese cartoons and taking Poppet to the beach in her spare time. She also maintains this website, so if you have any suggestions please let her know!
Heather S. has been a technician here at The Pet Hospital of Tierrasanta since 2005. She started out as an R.O.P. student and was fortunate enough to be hired here. She loves working with the animals and all of her co-workers. We are like one big family here. She has two cats, Jasper and Lilly, and two birds, Max and Rose. Some of her hobbies and interests are photography, traveling abroad, and gymnastics.
Jo is a native San Diegan, who has always loved animals. When she was a small child, she would rescue lost animals, and find them homes. If they were injured, she would nurse them back to health with Vasoline. She began her career in the animal business as a transcriber in the Investigations Department at the San Diego Humane Society over 24years ago. She worked for the San Diego Pet Memorial Park for a few years and finally found her home here at the Pet Hospital. Jo has been in the front office for 8 years and absolutely loves her job. “We have a great family here.” At her other home, she and her boyfriend have three kids: Joey and Jack are their ten-year-old labradors, and Jade is their thirteen-year-old cat. They enjoy family life and taking the kids to Doggie Beach. She looks forward to greeting you and your pet(s) when you come in to see us!
Kristine has worked at the Pet Hospital for 7 years. She has two dogs, Ivy Marie and Kaipo (aka Noodle or Hitsuji), and enjoys bringing Kaipo to work with her. Her husband and beautiful daughter Robin like to come visit her too, and play with the legos up front. She loves to read and play with her daughter in her spare time.
Lori has 31 years of grooming experience under her belt, and has worked with Dr. Houston for over 19 years. She has two dogs, Porter Gunther the amazing Shih Tzu, and Giacomo the German Shepherd. She enjoys taking care of her mom, and wheeling Porter around in his stroller. She also thinks Johnny Depp is the most handsome actor on the planet.
